PASSING the "9-11 First Responders" Bill - a Question of HUMANITY!!!!!

The 9-11 1st Responders Bill, a/k/a, "The Zadroga Bill," named after James Zadroga, an NYPD Officer who died Five (5) years ago, would provide $7 BILLION in Medical & Financial Assistance to 9-11 First Responders who are suffering from related medical problems such as Heart & Respiratory Problems and life-threatening or life-changing diseases such as Cancer & "COPD." There has been such a defined Cluster of these Medical Cases among 9-11 1st Responders that there is no longer ANY doubt regarding their Source or Authenticity. (Quick Background: The Zadroga Bill passed in the House but now Republicans will not even bring it up for a vote -- despite apparently having sufficient number of "Yehs" to PASS IT.) All politics aside, the reality is that Republicans use the tragic events of 9-11 almost as a Recruitment Tool and now they are turning their Backs on these HEROES. However, this issue should supersede ANY Political Agendas as it is a question of HUMANITY!!!!! We as a People are a formidable force completely capable of conquering ANY obstacle in the future, i.e., unless we separate ourselves by various Agendas and become merely "We as Individual Persons." Such a Selfish approach will slowly destroy our Society and its Freedoms which so many Men and Women are risking their lives to protect. While this, much like 9-11 itself, is CLEARLY a "Turning-Point" issue for our Nation, other than Anderson Cooper and Jon Stewart, no Major Television News Networks are covering this DEBACLE except for Al Jazeera (as pointed out by Jon Stewart)!!! PLEASE GET INVOLVED and VOICE your Opinion - whatever it is - so long as it is YOUR OPINION and not some Republican robotic response.
