I have a bunch of new products in front of me … Newish products I should say because a lot of them have been living in my makeup bag for a couple of weeks. What I’m going to do is just use them as I go. First up, I have my foundation on, and it is MAC Face and Body, but that isn’t new so I’m not going to feature it. First up is Clinique Just Browsing. These are brow mascaras actually, brush-on styling mousse. They come in 4 colors. Those 4 colors are Blonde, Light Brown, Deep Brown and Black Brown. Apart from Light Brown, they’ve all got slightly ashy undertone, which I really like. Good colors. I’m going to put the Black Brown on. It comes with a tiny little wand, so if you have very small, sparse brows like me, it’s perfect. It gets every single brow hair. I think they’re £16 each these. There is a blog on the pixiwoo.com about these if you want to find out more details. Next I have this. This is the NARSissist palette, matte shimmer eye shadow palette. In there, you get 8 eye shadows. The top 4 are matte and the bottom 4 are shimmer. You get a black eye liner pencil. £36, I think that’s a pretty good value. I really like these eye shadows. I put this on my Twitter and I was surprised to see that some people didn’t think they were very pigmented. I haven’t noticed that at all. I’m just going to throw a couple of these colors on just so you can see. I’ll start with this light one here. I’m going to do the matte ones. I also filmed this same video yesterday with the blacks. I’ll drop some of the images in of me using the black as well just so you can see what it looked like. I’m going to take the second color through the socket. It looks a lot lighter than it actually is, that color. I’m just taking that through the socket. I don’t think £36 for 8 eye shadows and a liner is bad value for NARS at all. Let’s use the same brush in this darker color here. That’s just to show you a really quick, really simple basic look that you can do with this palette. My hair is really hurting today. It’s so high and it’s really sore. Can’t wait to finish this video and take it out. Now let’s use a little bit of the pencil. This one is a Night Series eye liner, and it’s one of those twist up jobs. I love a twist up liner because it means I don’t have to carry a sharpener around with me, which always makes me happy. If you do have to carry a sharpener around with you, I totally recommend the Urban Decay Grindhouse one. It stays sharp for a really long time and I also love that it comes in a little box. What I do is in my make up bag, I keep it in the box. I sharpen it in the box so the lid doesn’t come off, because there’s nothing worse than your pencil sharpener opening out in your make up bag. I’m just using the liner to create a little bit of shape on the outside corner there. The eyelash serum I’m been using that made my lashes really long was LiLash just so you know. That’s the one I was using. I’m just going to pop some mascara on. I’m using L’Oreal Voluminous. Not a new mascara, just one that’s on the desk. Let’s pop a little concealer on. Estee Lauder Double Wear, I’m using and a Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush to do that. One of the other things I wanted to show you is this. I know it’s not very exciting to look at. It’s called the Tansy. What this is, it’s from Australia. It says, “I’m here to help make your life easier after fake tanning. Simply pop your pillow inside my pillow case and slip me between your sheets. Then you can relax, and I can go to work protecting your sheets from you tan.” It opens out into a giant sleeping bag. No more brown sheets. Back to where we were. I did concealer. Now we need a little bit of cheek. I have got this from Bobby Brown. Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks in the color Maui. Really pretty. Love this color. I’m just going to put a little of that on using a stippling brush, just apple of the cheeks. With these you can use them on the lips as well, but I rarely do because I’m not a massive, massive fan of cheek products on the lips. They always feel a little bit dry for me. Says I. Then I put on a long lasting liquid lipstick. This one is from The Balm. It’s Meet Matt(e) Hughes, and the color I love. It’s called Adoring, Then Committed, which is a kind of … How would you explain that color? It’s like a pinky brown, I suppose, with a touch of coral. I really love The Balm products a lot. Those are my current favorites. I’ll do a little recap. NARSissist palette, £36, 8 shadows, 1 liner. Clinique Just Browsing comes in 4 different kinds … 4 different awesome colors as it goes. I used the Bobby Brown Pot Rouge in Maui, number 36. Really pretty color. Then the Meet Matt(e) Hughes lipsticks. They come in a wide array of colors. These 3 are my favorites: Loyal, bright red, Committed, which is a bit darker than nude, and then the one I’m wearing, which is Adoring. That is everything for today. Thank you so much, and I’ll see you next time. Take care. Bye.
